Au travail! - So, I survived my first day back to work. The Bus/Metro ride to work was pretty ******* brutal, but once I got going in the morning things were pretty good. I hit my stride about 3pm but was definitely ready for a nap by the time I got home. The progress is encouraging.

Re: Mush Larose Dog race #2 - Ekk, I thought I had more time to recoup before the race but It's actually this weekend. Nooo! Looks like I'll be sitting this one out. It's a real shame too after buying the scooter. There's always next year!

Sinfest takes on Change. Funny little comic strip but it makes you wonder, how much can Obama change all on his own? Let's hope everyone else is really on board too.

After a week of being horizontal for all the wrong reasons, I'm going to make my triumphant return to work tomorrow, or at least I hope so. Yesterday afternoon I was feeling super for a few hours but most of the time I'm limping around.

After a few failed attempts earlier in the week (maybe it was the meds...) I was finally able to get the Wii Balance board working again this morning so I could run through some of the exercises in Wii Fit, mainly the step aerobics and a few of the basic yoga poses. I think it's really going to help me get going again. It's also pretty inspiring to know that Chuck Norris and Shaft have got your back when your busting a move during the step aerobics. Can you dig it?

I'm supposed to return to work tomorrow but I'm finding it difficult to remain in a seated position for long periods of time. I think compromises will have to be made. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work, who knows what surprises await me!

First Glimpse of Star Trek Trailer - io9 has a partial bootleg of the trailer playing before Quantum of Solace. I think it's looking great but Sylar as Spock is a bit creepy even though he nails it. I still freak everytime I watch Lord of the Rings... Guy's don't trust King Elrond/Agent Smith, run your ass off!

The last Star Trek film, Nemesis, was utter crap. J.J. Abram's (Alias, Mission Impossible 3) looks like he's really trying to give the series the reboot that it deserves. Leave May 9, 2009 open on the calendar Dad. I'll pick you up, my treat too! One would expect that the Official HD version of the trailer will be online Monday, but why wait?
